Spare parts list for the Philippines
#13
Hi fixkick (and to all others!),

the defective injector shows the number "INP-470" Besides the number there is a round sign (a circle with three little lines at the left down side). The "plastic" parts of the injector are in yellowish white. It has four wholes for injection. Because it´s already dark in the Philippines, they couldn´t take pictures yet... but I expect the pictures tomorrow.

For me it looks and sounds like a NIKKI injector...

They already looked for a replacement part there, but they couldn´t find any.

I now saw an offer for a DENSO injector, being shipped from Taiwan with the same number (Whole number of the DENSO injector is displayed as: "195500-2400 15710-57B00 96068643 INP470 FJ396 4G1290 83211143 89053898".

But my only question now (before getting the pictures to verify the model) is:

Can injectors be mixed from different manufacturers? Or is it not advisable to do so? Are the couplers / electrical connectors the same with different manufacturers? Do they have the same coupler / electrical connection? Is it advisable to exchange ALL injectors at once, if the car has been running 160,000 km (100,000 miles)?
