Replacement Transmission?
#2
finding any shop or re-builder that does any M/T box or transfer case (the latter is bad)
car-part.com
buy them used.
have 2 , yours and a 2nd

and or have those 3 things read and find a shop that will do the kit, all bearings, all seals .
nobody Sells gears. now. suzuki ran plumb out. ask them and see that.
the transfer case makes the 5speed box 100% dead. (and goal 1)

so you wrecked the transfer case rear bearing . so pull the box. take it to a shop hand him the gearing /seal kit and say DO IT please.
that is all there is to it.
next time run rear prop shaft dis-connector kit and never have this happen ever again.
the 200 mile rule is for tow truck folks and rule 2 , 55mph max. see that? bet not.
not RV uses.
sorry the rear bearing gets zero lube towed, , as in ZERO.
and goes bad. (progressively)

towed
all ways are here. Suzuki method A to E ,verbatim.

some guys , add an oil .lube pump to the box so
parts 20 to 44 do not wreck
the real problem is shaft 17 spins dry

id buy a used full case and car-part.com
those are auto wrecker parts network
there are no new boxes, just used .
many used boxes are near new inside as the owners never once used 4wd ever. is super common in reality.(happy feet if true)

towing, does wreck the rear end of the the transfer case not the 5speed box.

the drawing is here , up to 98 year, not sure 99.

check it out.
the roller bearing #20 is standard as are seals. if 43 is bed ,needle bearing that takes hard work to source. (24 years later)
other parts now rare.
