one other factor is Suzuki, they do this on many parts.

the j18 parts were used in newer engines, even 2007 , J23 for 1 example

so suzuki, would then delete the old suffix 77E00 code and use then newer number. (77E means J18 , and is used on VAST parts inside the engine too.)

this causes problems in the aftermarket sellers for sure their ecatalogs. what to call the part is problematic. now.

see?

see this.

see the 65D00? (yup a new number that is)

that is 2007, j23, Aerio car part and SX4, now used , backWARDS TO YEAR 1996 , AN 11 YEAR LEAP BACK IN TIME.

SEE THAT?

the new number is this, and 11 years newer. number (thermostats) at suzuki real come with the gasket ring, in the box. (unlike many aftermarket sellers) ok?

17670-65D00 (new)

17670-77E00 (old 1996) 77E means J18 back then first usage of 77 codes. ok? even the cylinder head is coded, 77E00

My guess, is the 27 code mean the new part that fits, all suzuki's that had the 77E part and the 65D part.

For sure suzuki did this blunder. the ripple effect. changing part numbers. ( now that we, know this, we must now forget it, fast, I did, and had to look it up again) LOL
