Code P0118
#9
[color=#383a3b]Driving today. The code does not return! It was the same for my TPS code. Never throw away your OEM Suzuki sensors!!

If you ever remove any sensor WITH key on, the PCM sees that gross error and stores  that  ERROR in the PCM memory.  and then must be OBD2 scan tool reset, or drive many long hard driving cycles to erase the DTC error you created.
never use sand paper to pins, it wipes out the special plating on the pins wrecking them.,  just use electrical cleaners. ok?
learn to respect the pin plating.  is best.  clean them with extra special care. or it will go far far worse
and respect too that suzuki does not sell ever those connectors, (long long ago yes, the full harness) but not now.  double, respect the pins, OK?
WD40  MU (Multipurpose ) is oil, Id never oil my pins.  I use electrical contact cleaners real not this  MU  WD40.. (blue and yellow can)

w40 MU is for rusty screws or as the name states water dispersal WD (it is an oil )  buy a can of electrical cleaner.
OK I now see WD40 brand now sells that too (sliver black can),  so W40 now means NOTHING, , so  that is cute trick now.

I use CRC electrical contact cleaner.  or any seen here

Thanks. Well, stuff like that is not available here! People don't use that. We have grease, but we don't have de-electric grease. Buy them online, they don't ship to here so what!

Just sandpaper it a little since it is not enough space out there.

It was just like the TPS code. I did the same and the code does not return until today.
