Fuel rail firewall side leaking gas?
#51
So mine, besides the diaphragm being busted for sure that was missing, like I pointed out.

Have a great day.

ok, put in the new damper.
then dismantle the old one. see what is there?
the screw is on the dry side.
see? it is not a topic, (on leaks)
take it apart, i do all bad things, there is always something to learn for the curious. be that. (skipping bad mercury switches and smoke detectors and loaded air bags and gas fill shocks. or other nitrogen fill things under pressure. (door dampers?))

a screw missing is not always bad.
At the worse:
lets in dirt.
if part of calibration, that would be bad. take it apart and see. what is there, nobody has ever done that. yet.
i think its for testing, just after it was made.
or was primed with nitrogen gas,

my guess, is testing port, prove me wrong, love that.

Consider it done. Pictures will follow. Though all that epoxy weld now is all over. I think I can just cut thru the edges and split it?

Will let you know.

Thanks!!

if not grinder handy its very hard to do.
i just grind the rim, and the case splits. its just a steel roll crimp.
only do it if no bother.

Good day. Well now Im lost. nothing in the SK57 SMP kit looks like the ones in mi injector. Would this fit any way and is just a matter of different shapes that would actually fit regardless?
Please let me know what could I do?
Pics here.

All my cushions were OK, not cracked nor brittle nor hard. Had to improvise though with that air pipe/TB coupler it lost some material at the TB side when removing, but RTVd it until tomorrow when the new coupler gets in. If they have the SK53 I'll trade them and replace them later. The injector tip looks cracked but that goes inside the IM. Thanks for your help.

the rubber large hose, yes, i remember, and yes, they must not leak air, or it will go lean and bog. (the EFI system can correct for small leaks) but not more.
Its a shame they dont sell a injector seal kit for 4 cylinders. that fits and works.
some kits have 2 parts, why 2,? is that not odd?
there are 3 seals.
the 2 part rail high pressure seals see as 9 here.
and the vacuum seal at id 11. see here too. cushion name.
how to get this kit in the aftermarket is a pain, in the ash can.. you need #9 kit. no cushions.
