Rocker arm adjustment lock nuts
#1
Ok,this is my first post,I've searched everywhere and can't find a clear answer about this. I have a 96 1.6L 16 valve engine, one of the rocker arm adjustment lock nuts came loose and bounced around the valve train, needless to say it's MANGLED. I've looked everywhere, even went to the junkyard and can't find a nut that will work, anyone know what size it is? M6x .75? I've only found one place that says they can get that size but they want me to buy 1000 of them. SURELY another vehicle uses that size nut in the valve train, however all I could find In the junkyard was dohc engines with roller rockers. If anyone has ideas,or knows where to buy, lemme know
Thanks

Ok,I'm pretty sure they are m6x .75 pitch, found a place that will sell them in small quantity,so if anyone else runs into this problem, Fastenall has them

In Vancouver Canada Fastenall policy changed last year to only sell to wholesalers and businesses. So you have to find a business to order stuff from Fastenall for you..

Or know someone in the states, lol, the nuts ended up costing .30cents each, so if any of my Canadian neighbors need one I don't mind to send a few . I know they are a pain to find locally, around here anyway.
