turn signal/ hazard Flasher - 98TrackerMan - 04-14-2024

Hello All,  Shy 
 
     Long time since I posted. Here's the  little problem. Where is the Flasher located?  under the dash or engine compartment?
and this is the part number i found online --Genuine GM Hazard Warning Flasher "30026596"

best i can tell here.
96 up this is new spot. ID 23
g200 ground to it must be good
cycle the HAZ switch are HAZ dead too.?
or cylcing the old crusty HAZ switch now self cleans its contacts and blinkers work ,turns and haz both,see this happen too many times

THANKS FixKick  for taking the time & diagram for reply  hazards are ok-- turn signals on dash were blinking fast- Now that i am armed with info I'll be checking all around-with diagram in hand-- everything was original- never had to service this since 1998- I did see bulb out in rear out- Success! Shy

yes the flasher box , does odd thing if 1 lamp is open or shorted.
it does that on purpose to tell the owner , it has a problem.
