does the cluster CEL lamp glow key on, the go out running? (the 1st check all suzuki 89-95)
there is no chocks on EFI, only carbs
the EFI systems
use fuel tables. for cold
the table (inside ECU) is super accurate for fuel evap rates, and runs cold start fuel mixture based on the ECT (coolant temp) sensor readings.
That is right it will infact start at -40f in alaska and pure like a kitten. all by the magic in that table. unlike any carb on earth can do.
the car starts cold (02 sensors are of line , when cold) 02 is hot running engine usage. called closed loop.

the cold 16v engines starts, and races at about 1500rpm cold, if not the IAC is bad. stuck closed.

have you inserted the paperclip in the next to battery DLC connector to activate , Diagnostic mode yet.
and see the CEL lamp in the cluster flash 12s yet, this is first. always..

one way to test the tps switch
is to blip the throttle, key on (16v only) and not running
and check the voltage there goes 0v , then 5 then 0 each time it returns to zero, if yes, its probably ok.
5v= not idle
0v = idle
simple logic input (binary) to the ECU.
