im so glad for you, and hope it goes like that for year.
solder will not last as long as brass but gee, its free, saves $230,
big cash, better spent on kids or wife.

i think that brass is tempered too, its spring like and harder, than most brass, and lasts longer,

good luck !

omg , oh my gosh, the hazards work too, a blessing.

cheers.!

Fix, now that I saw the combo in and out and from every angle there is a white/green wire that comes out of it, just like in your schematic. The thing is that a white/yellow does indeed goes into relay. I think 1) I was not getting power at white/yellow because hazard slider was stock at hazard blink mode (besides signal slider being bad) When not in hazard mode, power goes from yellow to white/yellow, right? Look at it here in this pic, it is the wire left of the white/yellow.

Take a look at this little drawing.

That single dot in the drawing represent white/green contact, that is only used when the hazard is on.

There was no way in the world that solid yellow was transferring power to white/yellow, right? Because it was in hazard mode where the slider does not touch the solid yellow contact?

Now, where does this wire white/green goes to after leaving combo? I know it is related to all this, some how, because it contacts with slider in hazard mode?

This is what I mean, if makes sense at all to you.

The left slider (your left) switches or joins contact 19 and contact 3 seen in this picture (When in normal mode, no hazards)

http://www.fixkick.com/bbs2/Suzuki-bbs/a...hp?aid=158

But since I assembled combo without hazard button and no spring it was always in hazard mode, preventing solid yellow to switch with white/yellow?

http://www.fixkick.com/bbs2/Suzuki-bbs/a...hp?aid=159

Contact 19 circled in yellow and contact 3 in white. Contact# is where that white/green wire connects to and is circled in light green.

So if slider was stuck in the hazard position because I installed it like that, where do signals get power from if its only from solid yellow? Im just curious.

the hazard has its own power supply 12vdc fuse, that is the reason there are 2 fuses. blink and Haz.
the switch decides, that.
then when the blinks are used, power goes to the blinker relay from blink fuse, if the hazard are used same thing the blinker relay goes hot.
then the blinker module sends pulsing power, BACK to the combo at pin 13
at this point the Comb can do 2 things,
if in hazard mode the Combo sends flashing power to both side of car, and can fail and not send to one side (see that schematic)
or if in blink mode the same pin 13 blink power goes to pin 2 left or 12 right side of car , as driver selects.
that is how it works electrically
mechanically only you know, because you took it apart.

my guess that is the key to this question,?
"where do signals get power from if its only from solid yellow? I'm just curious."

the blinkers would work if the RELAY has power all the time, just fine. but the Relay sound will drive you nuts and burn out soon.
there are only 2 ways to get power to the relay.
see that drawing?
ok, but mechanically, who knows?, you'd have to imagine all forms of wrong assembly "OMG", I could never guess all those.

Then thats white/green wire job, that was the one coming out of the fuse into the combo. I'll do the test again just to corroborate all this, now that the combo is working.

Lol!! One of the misteries of the universe, that is.

Good day sir. In other news the fuel damper already shipped, so hopefully next it will arrive.

as you know the switch is made by many companies. (suzuki dont make them) most parts in car electric are NOT suzuki at all, the ECU is Mitsubishi.etc.
and all work the same (black box, input/ output , load)
but inside, they can all be different. that is their call, the mechanics designed.
even different plastics, or anything at all, its called a design. (imagine the cost of diecast molds at $10,000 each.)
someone designs it with their ideas of what is right/best etc, and costs limits.

Denso not same as say, NEC or Mitsubishi or ? see?

one can put a transmission together only 1 way
and 1000 wrong ways. this is no magic. not at all, no mystery.
same with any thing. one way, works , all others dont' (take photos is my hint)
im not sure of your questions, the blinkers work what is the question exactly Im not sure.
Then thats white/green wire job,
my guess is the schematic is not clear? it shows how it works , well mostly.
did you look at the PDF? fully the 2 pages? pg 3/4
http://www.fixkick.com/power-elect/95%20...mps95b.pdf

white-green is the power supply for Hazards.
my guess is the designer wanted hazards to work with blinker fuse blown, (it does) as a SAFETY Feature of the car. (a hope thing)
and look one more time, see that, the hazards work with your car keys in the pocket, one more safety feature, (you can turn them on, pocket the keys
and walk for help.
this is same on all cars, and same for head lights they too work with no keys, and again, for SAFETY.

see words "hot at all times" that means it goes to hood fuse box and hot all time fuse. to battery directly.
that to is covered in the previous PDF. below
backing up to my schemo page
see this,
http://www.fixkick.com/power-elect/95%20...istra1.pdf

this covers distribution.
see the hazard fuse there?

Yes, understood. Now that I saw the combo inside and outside i have a better understanding of the wiring schem. The thing is that when beginning tests I remember that white/green I think did not have power? That is why I'm going over the tests. I just wanna make sure I did all tests OK and with everything OK all tests should come out OK, aka Pass.

Happy thanksgiving sir!!
