Forward fuel tank bar replacement Part 1....

Here are some photos of replacing the forward fuel tank bar replacement project....

Supporting the tank on removal. Bolts were stubborn!

Look at the ugliness of that forward brace! There wasn't much left of it. I was able to break the braces off with my hand!

Removed the right brace with a sawzall and cleaned up the remaining weld metal with a 4" grinder.

New part waiting to go in. Looks to be a perfect fit between the frame pieces....

nice work, this is the first thing to rust, oddly the actual frame has like 1/8" of primer on it.. (amazing) very thick
