TPS part compatibility?
#1
fixkick,

Do you know if a mikuni part number W0133-1645589 TPS sensor will fit a 95, federal 16v tracker, 4x4, manual tranny?

thanks,
John

it fits our 1995s.
so they say.

but id need to see what Throttle body is on the car, there are 2 kinds.
one is large (early) and then n the smaller one, introduce here, for OBD2.1996 (not x90)
95 Tracker down to a Caribbean island

if car is like ours, no hood sticker posted, open hood , post a photo of your sticker
some cars are JDM , cars, on Carib island. and we have zero docs on JDM cars of any kind, (they are no smog parts engines

post a photo of yours, up close, , in a real shop we open the hood and look at that part REAL close.
It's an old car, and parts can be wrong , on old cars, and for sure outside USA with parts hard to find, big time wrong.
revised my page and new photo, showing the narrow wide rules..

my 1997 had the small TPS.
The later 16v NARROW Style housing base, for the TPS, OD is 1.213" 31mm (aluminum side)
ill look up the 2 now. wide and narrow MPI TPS.

ive no idea at ALL what is on your car
but measuring the TB base mount will solve it
as will the tall TPS ,see how tall the old ones were?

both are SMP parts.
ive no clue as to how to do Mikuni. they host, no catalog, the bums. I work from real catalogs, and never car stores (bum data) if you look, about 1/2 are wrong. dead wrong, by wrong engine, or wrong year.
nor do I have GM cut off dates.
eg; did GM switch in 1995 to 1996? I think so. but?????? but GM dont sell them so is all ,just lost history now.

my guess is yours TPS is -58B00
but id not go on guess. measure it, photo it.

$224 at SUZUKI

http://www.lehmansuzukipartsonline.com/p...eid=216897

about $160 for the SMP

google scans show

https://www.google.com/webhp?gws_rd=ssl#q=13420-58B00

some seller show this

AIRTEX 5S5074 (seems right but is $190 at rockauto)
CARQUEST 71-7570 (seems right but their cat shows up to 1998 and that is dead wrong)
WELLS TPS494 (autozoned wants $422 for it, and next unborn child)
GM 96068619 (gone)
SUZUKI 13420-58B00 , still sold.
GEO 96068619 (Gone)
?DELPHI ?SS10497 , i think they got this one wrong, Delphi catalog actual 2014 shows NO MORE MADE.
mikumi: no cat so only luck happens at the store. id not risk it unless at the parts counter, yours in hand, id buy the SMP.
