96 Geo Tracker gauge pod
#1
Hello! I see on your page http://www.fixkick.com/engine/97-motor-p...ge_62.html that you have a triple gauge pod on your dash. How does it fit on the location? I bought a similar pod a while ago but when I put it on it did not sit right, it left gaps at the bottom. The only difference I see is that yours seems scaled down from one gauge to the next one, while mine is all straight.

pure luck.
what i wanted was left "A" pillar pods, but nobody had them for kick bodies.

Yes, the pillar looks like the best spot, but we don't even have trim there that we can mold custom pods onto it. It's bare metal. =/

Maybe, I'm going to look at it tomorrow. I never had an automatic Tracker or even driven one before. Also hard top is aftermarket and very ugly, I am expecting all soft top trim pieces are gone, more than what they cost, is the difficulty of finding them that worries me. Other than that it looks very clean on the pictures.

i think the rag top mount fittings changed in 1994 , adding to hard to find parts.
yes the hard top (best) top look like they made them in a Garage and are very crude and ugly.
but does allow more easy access to the rear, for sure.

make sure the A/T dont slip or fail to shift to 2nd hot and cold. many wont work hot, and other cold,
one trick sellers do is keep motor hot before demo......
and the 4sp , with the OD. flashing, means trouble.
