Body mounts rusted
#1
The four central body mounts on my Vitara (aka Tracker/Sidekick) are rotted. I've got the body off. The body mounts at the very front where the grill is are fine and the ones behind the tank are also fine. It's the four in the middle that are rotted.

The front body mounts fell off when I took the body off:

The rear ones are still hanging on but lots of rot:

I'm finding it quite hard to make new ones and worried that if I don't get the position right then the body won't fit onto the chassis. I'm up for buying new body mounts and members from Suzuki, to save me time and problems if the positions don't line up. But can't find them in the Suzuki catalogue! All the other members are there, but none of the members or body parts under the body are in the catalogue. Ideas?

If that's all you need to do, then I think it's not that bad.
Angle grinder, cut off wheels, a stout wire wheel, appropriate gauge
sheet metal, and Chinese stick welder. Maybe Oxy Acetylene with rosebud tip
to help fabricate a good fit. A have a bit of that rust too, and
I am also considering using fiberglass as an alternative.
