BTW idle is good doesn't surge stays very steady...the car runs great has a lot of power..

22 CEL, right? the CEL flashes 22. (not OD lamp)
TPS Throttle Position Sensor Circuit too low V , TP pin, not idle pin.

this means in most cases. below.
1: got 5vdc on the 5v pin of the TPS< it just be 4.75 to 5.25vdc and is regulated, from ECU.
2: the tps calibration was violated by the BAD GUY, seems not this case with 1v there. that be ok.

most times its #2
and never a bad TPS. but>?

never seen 22s with 1v there ever. (ive even used resistors here to see thresholds for failure, and .2v is it,.
this error mean that its 0.2v or less. for sure.
TP pin, error. not the idle switch.

my guess is bad tps.
if 1v , then it must be glitching to ground due to bad TPS.
but can be 5vdc glitching to ground. bad wiring on both or wire hacking.

the ecu does not lie here, it is wrong, but can be dynamically failing from vibration or bad TPS.

had one tps that had and internal crack inside due to some one hitting it too hard. during some odd maintenance.

will see

1v is good.
so it must be a bad intermittent TPS.
if wires are good. and pins not rusted.
