A note of thanks!

I recently purchased a '94 Sidekick 4x2 16V with California emmisons and the dreaded error code 51. Thanks to the Fixkick.com site I was able to troubleshoot the error and save myself the $85 for a new temp probe by installing the resistor! Big Grin

Hi Scott, I also fixed an issue with my 96 Tracker today due to this website and its owner. I cannot even imagine how much money I saved vs. taking it to a garage.

brand new forum, and is perfect out of box and free files and photo uploads and gallery. very nice.
thanks , and your welcome, yes the 94 Calif. has a EGR thermoprobe and loves to pack in carbon and lie.
the ECU is dumb and does not do a cold then hot test. only blind hot test, if reads right, it passes. silly thing.
we are trying to fix Gorky's bad MAF, it acts very strange...
happy kicking...

When I got my first Sidekick, I had no clue how emissions sytems ,ecms ,sensors worked. Thanks to the FIXKICK site, I had been able to test and repair the Sidekick and now the Tracker. Thank You for sharing your knowledge.
