92 Tracker won't start

I have a 92 Tracker 5 spd 4wd. I bought it a few months ago. I've replaced the battery and alternator. When I turn the key to ON, the dash lights are on. Fuel pump primes. Turn it to Start and lights go dim, might try to turn over, might not. Will start with a jump but runs rough. Each gear shifts fine but throttle after sputters. I'm out of ideas.
