there are many variances.
but yes, the head click counts are same, clicks per mile or turns pre mile (VSS is a reed clicker tells PCM speed)
the transmission speed gears are all different. per trans /axle setups. world wide, there are more

the head connector matches, connectors and pins. 13 x 10 x16 (3 connectors, and this is the pin count 96-98
Calif or federal ? is calif 55 mph limited,? i forget.
bit tacho , yes tachometer.
the heads very by if 4x4 or 2wd
and for OD lamps, 4wd lamp. and more. extra lamps is not a problem.
and for MPH usa, kmh Canada.

oh and the bottom of the head ,pulled has the suzuki p/n on a sticker there matching above list
