Idles, but dies giving throttle

have you managed to fix the idle issue?

car bought dead.
can be lots of causes.
but starts now....
zero power. ( can be, cat melted and clogged, compression pathetic, MAF dead, still no check engine flash codes reported , got 12s' why not use the jumper clip and read the flash codes from the ECU.
too fast idle , ISC unplugged tell me ECU is in limphome mode, and idle has nothing at all to do with this, its only a VICTIM of other majore causes.

we start a the engine,, compression test , the tool is $20 , all shops have one, if not you chase tail for days,
the EFI system can not run a dead engine, is why we do that, and is called checking basics first.
the engine must breath, must not have melted cat, blocking engine exhuast.
the compression is 180 PSI if 80, x4 , the belt slipped on the cam. or worse. the readings on all 4 matter, exact readings WOT, wide open throttle.
Then spark is next did the last guy play with the destributor ,finds spark way off time from above and then tried to correct it not fixing above line first.
Ok sparks good, next is what (MAF)

the paper clip test, we insert it , key on see flash codes. got non 12's??? if yes what.? then start engine, got 12s still?
