#11
"im 3000 miles from home, below the equator, fun in the sun" Up here in Québec, Canada, two more cold months...... but it`s good time to read and learn from internet site like yours.....

Ì`ll go back in the garage tomorrow and I`ll have a closer look at the Sidekick engine..... from every side !

Btw, hope you`ve got great time in that area, wish we could get that weather by now here..............

sure wish i had a g16 now
would gladly, use my torpedo level on it,
or better my , small cube. mag.level on the VC, ( valvecover)
i just used this magic tool to do CAMBER. on other car with new spindles and balls. with wild adjustment ranges.
took car to shop for laser alignment and guy said, camber was perfect. not toe.(as expected toe, i cant do good)

ever seen one.?
park car on flat pavement
calibrate magic tool to pavement, sit it there, push calibrate.
then put tool on VC top,
push button, ( do both ways for fun)
bingo tilt F>R or L to R

a very useful tool.

get one on sale. ?

on the car, front rotors
they have flat faces
and was a able to do CAMBER there, on the face of that, easy
with 2 persons, one to yell. bingo (or other way mate)
super easy.
nice tool.

my guess, on topic......
if you grab top of engine
and push it left and right ,hard, (man handle it, with 100 lbs of force)
and engine dont move , mounts are not busted
and rear tranny mount not mangled, (take a glance ,then pry there. look for mount excessive play.
