96 Tracker to 96 Sidekick
#1
I'm looking for valve lifters (rocker arm adjusting screws) for my 96 tracker. The only thing I can find for the intake rockers is 96 sidekick at suzukicarparts.com They both are 1.6l 16 valve heads. Does anyone know if they are the same? The Suzuki part # is 1284661D00 for the sidekick and 96068601 for the GEO.

sorry, do you need 16 rocker screws and 16 nuts, all 32 parts lost (please say?)
there all 6mm and are not made of soft cheesy cheap screws, not in the least , they are extremely hard metal. called grade, putting in generic store bin parts inside the engine, is over top, and will fail. nor are the motorycycle parts.

the nuts 12 are same
the screws are not, ID 9 and 10
I will prove that here with real suzuki parts lists, actual,, 9 and 10 are not the same part!

If you just need the adjusting screws, you can fab them from good quality bolts

the screws are not simple screws
there are case hardened , and very special for this purpose.
and metric.

I don't see any magic with those parts:

If the suzuki ones are too hard to get or cost too much,
the first thing I would think is there must be some other
engine in the world that has like 7mm fine thread 22 mm
long lash adjustment screws. If there happens to be no
such engine, I would use 10.9 bolts with small hex or
allen head. Bolt end would be polished like the original.

The screw in your picture is for the exhaust valve rocker. I need the intake valve rocker screw. It has a ball end that rides in the rocker rail.

And it hangs on a spring, but I'm not about to give mine up. What happened to the ones you have?

I think this is 12846-61D00-000

After quick look, I could not find a U.S. seller.
A number of outside U.S. sites list it as available
Item might also be used on motorcycles.
