Need Fitting That Oil Filter Screws Onto - jimlindenfelser - 04-26-2016

See pic. I dont believe I removed this when I had taken engine apart to have machined so maybe the machine shop did. I do believe I may have seen this among the rebuild parts they gave me but did not know what it was. I could probably get one from my local pull and save. They have some Suzuki Swifts which I believe used the same block. What is it called and is there a source for buying one? Have not tried dealer.

Thanks! I was all set to get ready to turn engine over to check engine pressure and flow to the head when I notice this missing when I went to screw on fiilter

me too, many shops lose it, and for sure if pressure tanked cleaned, lots pressure and vibation can be in bottom of their clean system tank.
sorry it happened to you, what a let down , on "fire works day"

Well oil filter stand was on back order according to the suzuki dealer. Ended up getting a couple from the local pull and save out of a couple geo metros. Turned engine over and have pressure and oil flow to the head. Time to button everything up and double check all my wire splices. Thanks for the help.
