Bosch 02 Sensor, 22MM or 7/8" bolt? - cosmic_splatter - 07-27-2014

Anyone know if the bosch 02 sensor is 22m or 7/8" on the bolt? I want to purchase a socket and I read the 7/8 wrench can strip a 22mm due to the slight difference.

fixkick,

I was going to try this offset style...

And a thread chaser....

Would a long split socket style be better? Not sure how much room is on the side of the sensor to use an offset.

John

what works best depends on what sensors. front or rear.
cal/fed cars?
all the above work, but the socket is way more strong than any spanner on earth. the split side, socket for 02s. works best. in most cases.
