1997 Sidekick, 1.6L, SOHC, 16V, MFI - gcates - 05-08-2023

Hello All,

I purchased a Sidekick with half an engine and am at the point where I am trying to figure which vacuum lines go where and what parts are missing.

Todays challenge is finding the vacuum port on the intake for the transmission vacuum modulator.  The evap cannister is missing from the vehicle as well.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Grover

easy stuff that
year is?
2door or 4doors?
what engine is there 8valve or 16valve (both are 1.6L) G16./
what transmission is  ok must 3speed as only it has that.
the rear of the THM180 box has vac modulator hole empty?

the canister on most are 2hoses. one to tank vent and one to VSV EVAP valve on intake man.

the intake manifold for 4speed has no  MOD Vacuum port at all
seen here and why
see  A/t MOD ports here on rear of intake manifold.
