yes, even good old chevron techron cleaner in that tank (poured) can clean an injector. (the best of them all , IMO) uses benzene, as solvent (the good stuff)
so compression is good
and spark is good
and injector 3 is not happy.
the bottle fix is the cheapest fix, off all. (if lucky)

Thanks fixkick
I'll give that techron a try. Maybe i'll get lucky and save some money on repair.

Greetings
Turned out that the Sport ran well at start up and initial driving. Seems once it was good and hot the #3 injector would start misfiring. Had the new injector installed and she's running like a top again. Actually running better than ever. All seems well. Thanks again for all your help Fixkick!
Good weekend to all!

the test for injectors is long and tedious
you need fuel pressure gauge. (and a way to fire 1 injector at time.)
and do flow rate tests, on each, to see if they match (and not leak when off)
the labor charge to test them is maybe more than just replacing 1 injector.
there is also and on car injector cleaner, that uses a small tank and pressure from shop air.
and last sending it to folks like witchhunter, to have it reverse ultrasonic cleaned.

the Techron, is just one simple way to do this, a hope and pray, simple way to clean the injector
the injector has 10micron screens inside if dirty are very hard to clean other than the reverse ultrasonic cleaner method.
in most causes of screen clogs you had bad gas at one time..
cheers !
