93' Sidekick 4 dooe 4x4 short in locks/rear defrost/rearwiper - Phishown - 10-12-2017
Looking for some some suggestions for a short that occurs in my auto door locks when I open and close the rear door the locks jump. When the rear door is closed the rear windshield wiper does not work and the rear defrost light stays on on the dash panel when lights are on. When going down the road the auto locks jump at random. It seems that the rear defrost / rear door being closed / auto locks / and / rear wiper all go haywire when the rear door is closed (grounded out at latch post)
I have looked for naked wires or shorted wires by taking off panel in rear and inspected all wiring. Searched under dash for naked wires or wire plugs that are plugged up wrong.
It has occurred the entire time I have owned it the last 4 years.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
